Hi campers, I am Avo. Today I am going to introduce you to a very classic logic-based number-placement puzzle, Sudoku. The game first appeared in 1979 under the name Number Place. However, the modern Sudoku only began to gain widespread popularity in 1986 when it was published by the Japanese puzzle company under the name Sudoku. The rules are straight and simple, but it does require some effort to solve the puzzle. It is a great practice to logical thinking and it is a fun way to pass your time.
- Sudoku is played on a grid of 9 x 9 spaces. The grid is divided into nine 3×3 blocks, each containing nine squares.
- The rule of Sudoku is that each of the nine blocks has to contain all the numbers 1-9.
- Each column and row also contains the numbers 1-9
- But each number can only appear once in a row, column or block.
